share your simple story...about you or someone you know.

I'm a philanthropist. Every day I think about how I can change the world.
Right here in Louisville, Kentucky.
I can't pledge billions that I do not have, though I appreciate and applaud and thank those who can.
What about you?
Are you a philanthropist?

  2. I am a philanthropist! I love and care about mankind. I want to live in a world where people care about the future generations. I watch miracles happen everyday as young girls learn to become leaders. I want to celebrate those that give of their time, talent and treasure!

  3. Two of my favorite philanthropists are Carol and Al Clark. Carol is a "west end girl and Ahrens Trade School grad" whose mission is to help kids in the west end who are growing up in a tough situation similar to hers. Carol and Al support Neighborhood House, a community center in the Portland neighborhood of Louisville. By using coupons that they save and solicit from everyone else, they shop all year for the best buys on items for the children, senior adults and Kids Café of Neighborhood House. Carol is constantly seeking the bargain. Then, piles of coupons in hand, they make purchases of shampoo, gloves and mittens, caps/ toboggans, condiments, etc. that they bring to the folks at Neighborhood House. Along with the gift of their personal time, cupcakes, and pictures of our members, Carol and Al always bring smiles and laugher. Along with their giving, they are inspiring others to give and to do something to thoughtful to change their world as well!
